Community Guidelines
Everaly is for sharing real moments from your day. These guidelines apply to everything on Everaly: profiles, Dailies, five-second videos, Ephemerals, Rolls, comments and messages. Everaly is open to people aged 14 and older, so keep that audience in mind.
Be yourself
- Do not pretend to be another person, brand or organization.
- Do not create accounts to mislead people or to get around a Block or a suspension.
Respect people
- No harassment or bullying: no threats, insults or unwanted repeated contact, and no encouraging others to do it.
- No hate: no attacks on people because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or other protected characteristics.
- Respect privacy: do not share other people's private information, such as addresses, phone numbers or documents. Do not post someone in a private or intimate situation, and do not re-share someone's Ephemerals or View Once media without their permission.
Keep it safe
- No nudity or sexual content. Content that sexualizes minors is strictly forbidden and may be reported to the authorities.
- No violence or dangerous content: no graphic violence, and no promotion of dangerous acts, weapons or extremist organizations.
- Self-harm: do not post content that encourages suicide, self-harm or eating disorders. If you are struggling, please reach out to someone you trust or a local emergency service.
- No illegal activity: including the sale of drugs, weapons or stolen goods.
- No spam or scams: no fake giveaways, phishing, or repetitive or automated posting.
Share what is yours
Post only content you made or have permission to share. Respect copyright and other people's work.
Reporting and blocking
- Report anything that breaks these guidelines from the “⋯” menu on a profile, Daily, Ephemeral or Roll, by tapping “Report photo” on a Roll photo, or by long-pressing a comment or a message you received. Reports are confidential: the person is not told who reported them.
- Block someone to stop all new contact with them. Their profile and yours become unavailable to each other.
- You can also make your profile private, choose who sees each Daily, and limit who can comment on your content.
What happens when guidelines are broken
Depending on how serious and how frequent it is, we may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close the account. Where someone may be in danger, we may contact the relevant authorities.
Owner to confirm: the person or team who reviews reports during the beta, how often the queue is checked, and the appeals process. Today reports are recorded but not reviewed automatically.
